[I'M OBSESSED] Holy Shit, I Love You Linda Rodin

 

I clicked through this little ole slideshow with my jaw completely on the floor--Linda Rodin is one stylish lady.

If you've never heard of her before, Rodin is a NY stylist who has recently made a big splash with her skin, body, and hair oils: Olio Lusso. I've seen these bad boys written up in just about every chic gift guide on the planet, and I'm dying to give em a whirl. But in the  meantime, I'm glued to this slideshow from Refinery 29 like whoa.

Some of you might be thinking: "holy shit this chick has a whole hell of a lot of stuff," and you wouldn't be off the mark. But somehow I feel like Rodin still manages to pull it off without looking like she's shooting an audition tape for Hoarders. In particular, I'm transfixed by all of the fab little details--this is a woman who has lived, and lived well. I'm imagining that all of her books have been carefully collected through the years, many of them personally signed by the author who she befriended at some fabulous charity event, or some long ago photo shoot, or on an African safari.

Her collection of hatpins is like a beautiful bouquet of colorful spring flowers. I don't even own a goddamned hat, much less a collection of hatpins.

Also, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME WITH THAT CHAIR?? I die. I'm dead. And how chic does she look all dressed in red?

I love seeing other people's collections, especially the well-thought out, eclectic ones. And judging by these photos, Rodin ain't kidding around when it comes to collecting.

Also, look at that old school phone!? Fab, fab, fab.

As if I wasn't in love with this chick enough already, she reveals that she used to have a Basset Hound! I HAVE A BASSET HOUND! Sadly her hound passed away recently, but she was lucky enough to have Winky the poodle come into her life.
