Each week (ish) we'll pull back the curtain, and give you an insider's look into the lives of some of your favorite bloggers with 'Where I blahg.' This week: Chedva (@ChedvaK) from Belly's Button!

One of my most favorite-ist things about having a blog is all the fly ass ppl I get to "meet" in far-flung places across the world. Case in point: Chedva! Who lives in Israel! I first took notice of her site when she did this killer post on all the diff moodboard posts/apps out there at the EXACT moment I was trying to figure that shit out. As it turns out, she's got loads more fab stuff on her blog where that came from. She even did an old Domino mag giveaway! Oh, and we're also TV soul mates...and despite the fact she lives in Israel she still manages to keep up with all the shows here. That's some serious dedication, ppl. So yeah, she rules.

What are we looking at here?

This is the desk at my home office, or as my son calls it "the work room", and a few of my favorite things on it. Actually, I think my first comment on your blog was about this red desk and how my husband hates that it's red. It is still very much a work in progress, as we just moved in a few weeks ago.

What is it about this spot that works for rocking out blog posts?:

I have no idea! But the fact is I can work anywhere (in a driving car, in a café, over a back-breaking bed in a crappy hotel) but I can only blog here. I picked everything in this room with a specific reason and I just love it (especially the bamboo étagère I found in a thrift store), so I guess that helps. I have all my fave magazines in an IKEA shelf right by the desk, a moodboard and my sewing supplies (behind the heart print), and they all inspire me.

Fave blog? (besides yours. Nice try):

Too many to list! My absolute faves are sketch42blog, MFAMB, a Bloomsbury life, Pure Style Home and kerrisdale design, and Gertie's blog for sewing/fashion/gleetalk.

Fave online resource?:

As someone who doesn't live in the states and doesn't have that much great decor resources nearby, I rely heavily on the web. So etsy and ebay, of course (your ebay post rocks), I'm infatuated with overstock right now, and I just did a post on some awesome resources!

Cupcakes or brownies?

Both! But can I say cinnamon brioche? It's my go-to when I'm stressed with work, and it totally shows, by the way.

Last thing you bought for your home?

A mirror from overstock and today I'm going to buy a Moravian star lantern from a Moroccan décor store I just found.
