[I'M OBSESSED] Aphro Chic Pillows
So I write this other blog about the Park Slope neighborhood I live in in Brooklyn (with a bad word in the title...you've been warned); and also I write this little Design Blahg. And it's pretty friggin rare that those two worlds collide. But today they do--with Aphro Chic pillows!
Aphro Chic is a fabulous blog in its own right...but whoa! There is also a killer product line developed by Aphro Chic-er Jeanine Hays to go along with the snazzy blog, and just so you know: their new Brooklyn inspired pillows are srsly to die for.
There is a pillow for each of four different iconic Brooklyn neighborhoods:
Boerum Hill
Fort Greene:
Clinton Hill:
And of course, Park Slope is pictured all the way on top.
As a Brooklyn rez, I can tell you that each of the images does such a fantastico job of capturing the vibe and feel of each of the neighborhoods represented.
All pillows are made with Belgian Linen with feather/down inserts and sell for $105/each. Each Brooklyn neighborhood image is also avail on adorable placemats!
And if Brooklyn ain't your thang for some reason, there are loads of other vibrant, colorful pillows that you might dig. The Aphro Chic line also includes some super chic shower curtains, and some wallpaper that makes me want to cover every square inch of my apt (dying over the bright yellow Haze).
Oh, and Aphro Chic was just featured in the NYT...so yeah, she's pretty much a bonafide rock star now.
