Screw Resolutions...I've Got A 2011 Wishlist

Ok, so resolutions kind of annoy me. I mean, I love the *idea* of them, but I also feel like the second you get yourself off tack, then the whole resolution thing starts to feel like a big failure...and then my tendency is just to scrap the whole damn thing.

So this year, I'm creating a wishlist. It's not a life list, in that I don't need to tick these things off. However, this is my way of telling the universe: 'HEY UNIVERSE: IT WOULD BE SO FUCKING RAD IF YOU MADE THESE THINGS HAPPEN! EVEN JUST A LITTLE BIT!'

So here's my 2011 Wishlist:

  • Learn Italian
  • Write a "thing" that's not just a blog post (a movie script, a TV show, a book proposal, etc).
  • Buy a house in the Catskills
  • Go to Italy
  • Get skinny
  • Make money every single month from my websites
  • Streamline my online life (figure out what is worth my time and do more of that and what isn't and do less of that)
  • Redo our bathroom
  • Exercise more days than not
  • Learn how to cook 10 things really well
  • Give up (or drink way less) Diet Coke
  • Be a better friend
  • Be a better wife
  • Get my tattoo removed
  • Make a piece of artwork that's worthy of hanging on our wall
  • Be more on top of my eyebrow waxing appts
  • Take a photo of Oliver every day
  • Collaborate with a big brand (not sure what or how, but yeah...)
  • Have some professional photos taken of our apartment

How bout you guys? Any resolutions? Or wishlists?
