Are you ppl watching HGTV's new season of Design Star or what??

I'm an ep behind, and I'm not doing recaps this year because doing recaps of a TV show on your blog is pretty much worse than Cancer. I'm serious: if you are ever thinking of doing it, DON'T. It will ruin your life (maybe I'll do one every once in awhile though).

Anyway.

This year's cast seems a bit more with it, but the bar is also sort of low so it's hard to tell so far. 

All I know is this room from the first ep made me want to slaughter a kitten:

Thank gawd that Yuki chick who was responsible for it got the boot. 

Also, why do people continue to believe that placing furniture jutting out at strange angles in a room looks good?

I failed geometry, but this is some weird isoceles triangle shit. 

Also, I can't tell you how many times I've woken up in the middle of the night, jerked up in bed, and thought to myself, "if only I had a shiva head statue!"

Oh, phew!

Also noticed everyone is pretty darn good looking this year. 

So are you watching?? What do you think?? Wouldn't it be fun if the cougar won??!!
