Design Star Queen of the Dramz: Le Nina

OH. EM. EFF. GEE.

Behold the photos that I came across on HGTV Design Star contestant Nina's website. This is apparently her PROFESSIONAL website, where she showcases her work, and presumably sends people who she wants to hire her. Like for real jobs that pay real money.

Y'all know I've been obsessed with this HGTV Design Star bullshit. We're four eps into the season, and mostly all we've gotten is: shitty challenges, HORRENDOUS designs, poorly dressed judges and dramz. I've entirely given up on the idea of ever seeing any inspired designs, so really, all I'm left with is the fighting. And pretty much all of the dramz is focused around this crazy deer head masturbating egomaniac Nina.

Only, I didn't even know the half of it. This bitch is MUCH, MUCH crazier than I originally thought (and all the evidence is conveniently located on her site!).

I was only tipped off about her site because Le Nina commented on two of my Design Star recap posts. Behold:

This comment was left on my ep 2 recap (on which contestant Emily also commented):

"Hi it's NINA from the show, thanx for the boob comment. lol
Love your blog, in response to Emily's post she is the most annoying person to be around not cute, not sweet not kind just phony fake and annoying.
check out my website and blog ninaferrer.net blog.ninaferrer.net"

Ah, so Emily is the annoying one?? Thanks for clearing that up...

And this comment was left on my ep 1 recap (in which I commented extensively on the fact that her winning umbrella design sucked a dizzle):

"I can't beleive you dont like the umbrellas, that is pure architectural genius, did you notice how they are just floating on the wall. Come on, lol. Floating umbrellas is fun, no? I can't convince you?"

Uhm...

Ok, so part of me thinks her "architectural genius" comment is sarcasm, but then I read her blog...where I found gems like this (grammatical and spelling errors are hers):

("the swing" was a room element featured on the latest ep):

"So the swingy swing swing, I kinda freaked out when my coffee table needed to go to the trash and then my art piece was really not up to par so I said to myself hmmm maybe I can paint the swing silver and maybe I can make it more elegant and bold so that I can use it as my moment for the orchid but Dan insisted that the swing was part of his concept and the raw rustic look related more to his story line so we left the swing as is and there you have folks. The story of the swing. Ugh that was exhausting. lol

Ahhhhh wish I had a swing to swing right now. lol"

LOL, indeed Neeners.

That fucking swing was the most ridiculous thing I have yet to lay my eyes on. Keep in mind people: THIS WAS A STUDIO APT...NOT A FRIGGIN PLAYGROUND. And she wanted to paint it silver!? That makes it way worse (and I didn't even think that was possible). Also, this quote was pulled from a blog post that looked like a gigantic, shizophrenic run on sentence. I don't even wear glasses and I practically needed a pair of bifocals to get through that shit. See for yourself here.

But wait ppl...there is more:

"UMM DO I KNOW YOU?????? LOL

I could get used to this. Yesterday I was shopping in Brooklyn for an upcoming TV appearance and I was “spotted” three times. LOL it was the funniest thing ever. First I walk into a vintage clothing shop and the owner looks at me tells me I look like someone, she sits down, and gets overwhelmed and then shouts out “HGTV NINA”, I very calmly said “Yes, I am, NINA:” she screams “No Way, I Love you” . I laughed so loud, it was the funniest thing ever. The best part is the store owner had the most amazing Italian accent so it made her profession of love sound all the more passionate. Lol, I promised her I was going to visit the store after each episode."

Actual blog post here.

Wow. Just wow.

Well folks, I think it's been made pretty clear that Nina is the gift that keeps on giving. I for one hope she makes it to the final two because frankly, I can't get enough. I've subscribed to her blog and will be visiting daily in the hopes of uncovering many, many, many more LOL moments.

You can also follow her on Twitter here.
