An iPod toilet paper holder that will make a "quirky gift." I honestly HATE it when people keep a magazine rack in their bathrooms—I don't want to know what you're doing when you're in the bathroom.  I don't want to know that you're leisurely reading a copy of US Weekly while you're sitting on the toilet.  I certainly don't want to know what song your listening to while you're sitting on the can. Oh, right, you love music so much that you couldn't possibly stop listening to it for 2 minutes?  Will you make an "On the Toilet" playlist?  DISGUSTING. 

[Flipping Out Recap] Episode 3: Urine Trouble

Hey kids, here I am again, turning my recap of Flipping Out in a day late. Doesn't that seem just like something one of those slack ass employees of Jeff Lewis Design would do? Yeah, I totally did it in their honor. Ahem.

We were left on the edge of our seats last week when Christy, daughter of the famed Casa Vega mexican restaurant, called Jeff to ask for a lunch with "just the two of them, no assistants". Suspense! What could be wrong?

Turns out that we were just DUPED by reality show producers who think we won't come back to watch without a cliffhanger.

So, I love, love, LOVE to do this thing, and I don't even know if there is a term for it so I'll call it "this for that." Basically, you just take any object or item that is meant for one particular purpose, and you use it for something else.

Doesn't sound very fucking exciting does it? But it sooooo is, in practice.

[I'M OBSESSED] Bridges

We've been driving to NJ a lot lately, which has given us the opportunity to travel over some new (to me) bridges. I'm not sure why, but I LOVE THE SHIT out of bridges.

I've taken to photographing as many of them as I can with my phone and, quite frankly, I can't get enough. I take a photo of the view going over the Manhattan Bridge several times a week from my Q or N train on my way home, and I *still* marvel it at almost every day.

But up until now, the Brooklyn Bridge has always been my fave. It's so graceful and elegant and, of course, holds a very special place in my heart because I love Brooklyn so damn hard. I also love that its so easily walkable, allowing you to explore its every nook and cranny and experience its breathtaking views from so many different angles.

However, mama's got a new crush, and even I'm surprised by it: The Bayonne Bridge.
