Saunas Are Srsly Happening

Did you get the memo? Cause yes, it's true: Saunas are having a moment.

A few weeks ago we rented a house in the Catskills that had a "sauna cabin."

And as y'all know since I talk about it non-stop: I'm constantly combing real estate listings to look out for our imaginary future house upstate. And I gotta tell you: I've come across 3 or 4 properties so far with saunas.

Charles and Hudson noticed too, and they pointed me in the direction of the WSJ who *also* reports that saunas are the hottest home improvement trend since the man cave or some shit.

Even if you don't give a rat's ass about fashion...or photography...or style, you're still a real life crazy person if you don't visit The Sartorialist several times a week. If I had to choose one site as my absolute, hands down fave, that site would definitely be it.

I LOVE IT SO HARD. Also Scott Schuman, the brains and galactically talented photographer behind the site, is like THE OG fashion blogger. The dude literally kinda invented the concept of street fashion blogging as we know it.

That HGTV Dream Home Is MINEZZZZ

So, uhm...can we talk about the HGTV Dream Home for two thousand elevs for a hot min? CAUSE I WANT THAT FUCKING THING SOOOOO BADLY.

It's in Stowe, Vermont...and that's a bit too far away, but I seriously dig it this year! It's like waaay hunting lodge chic-y!

I gotta say, I always enter the Dream Home giveaways, because hello: who doesn't want a Dream Home. But I've def never felt as much of a connection before to the dreamy homes as I have to this one.

And I mean, how fucking cool would it be if a Design Blogger actually won this? Lemme answer that for you: VERY FUCKING COOL!!!!

[COOKED] Beaba Baby Food Maker

We all have that one friend or coworker that insists that they are SO BUSY. 

"Oh my god, I'm SO busy," they'll say, returning from their 14th coffee run of the day.  They fire up Facebook and GChat as they continue to list off ALL of the things they have to do.

SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP.  The definition of "multi-tasking" isn't juggling Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.  But these are usually people in their 20's whose only responsibility is to themselves.

Let's look at the working mother, who has a full time job, a spouse (probably), and a gaggle of dirty, annoying kids to deal with when the day is done.  THAT is what busy is.  Which is why I have no fucking clue why Williams-Sonoma is trying to market this babyfood maker to the "busy mom" set.
