Dear Zara Home: I LOVE YOU. Like A Lot

Can someone, ANYONE, anywhere please explain to me why, why, why, w-h-y we still don't yet have a Zara Home store here stateside??? This fact literally kills me, like dead on the floor, every time I think about it.

For those of you who have never been, Zara Home is a furniture/decor store, open throughout Europe, from the peeps behind the Zara clothing stores (which we have PLENTY of). The store itself is kind of like Anthropologie on crack (though not quite so foofy). It reminds me a lot of ABC Carpet in NYC, but way the hell cheaper. They have gorgeous bedding, soooo many super chic accessories, lovely furniture, dishes, flatware...basically its amazeballs.

Several years ago Greg and I took a trip to Spain that happened to coincide with our move into our new apartment. Planning ahead, I decided to bring an empty suitcase so that I could cart back all the booty I planned to buy at Zara Home.

[I'M OBSESSED] Mirror Mirror On The Wall...

I am obsessed with mirrors. Not looking into them, thank you very much, but using them as part of the decor in your home. I feel like I should be sick of them already...like isn't this a trend that's overdone?

But nope...I just keep on truckin.

We already have a mirrored coffee table (which I love), but truth be told: when I'm thinking about new shit for our apt, 50% of the time, a mirror is somehow involved.

Duh, this place belongs to some adorbs gay couple with impeccable taste, who live in the W. Village with a froofy little dog. I'm pretty sure we should all be besties (including our pups).

[I'M OBSESSED] Sophia Coppola Is A Bitch

Cause she's married to Thomas Mars of Phoenix, i.e. MYFAVORITEFUCKINGBANDINTHEWHOLEWIDEWORLD.

Also her movies are gorge. And the next one is called Somewhere...and it looks so fab. And was shot in LA and mostly at the Chateau Marmont, and I love the CM. And dream about moving in there for a month or two.

And that makes me jelly of her.
