[DESIGN STAR RECAP] Episode 9: People in Glass Houses

FIN-A-FUCKIN-LY.

Yep folks, at long last it happened. We popped our individual challenge cherries last night, and is the case the first time most of us got laid: it wasn't as good as we thought it would be...but also it wasn't as bad as getting punched .

Most importantly WE DID IT TOGETHER PPL! I-N-D-I-V-I-D-U-A-L-L-Y! And isn't that what matters most??

So yes, two milliseconds before this entire fucking show is over, we got our individual challenges. Each of the remaining 3 designers, Casey, Emily and Michael were asked to design a glass box "sun room."

[HOW TO] Order Flowers Like You Know WTF You're Doing

For a brief moment in time, I really really wanted to be a floral designer (that's an arrangement I did a few years ago).

I've always just had a knack with flowers, and after making bouquets and arrangements for friends for many years, someone finally said to me: YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DO THIS FOR REALZ. So, I took a ton of classes, spent many mornings at the flower market and then realized: oopsie. I have no desire to wake up early every morning of my life, work weekends and deal with bridezillas all the live long day. So yeah... I just let that dream die.

Howevs after reading about and studying tons of other floral designers (AND working for the real life Mr. Big who constantly ordered beautiful arrangements of flowers for all sorts of peeps all over the world), I *did* learn a trick or two along the way. [UPGRADE] Ebay Saved Searches

If you spend as much time and money on ebay as my ass does, you likely have a system. And yes: you TOTALLY FRIGGIN NEED one. While ebay is one of my true loves online, its also a bit of a beast. There are sooooo many items and sooooo many categories, and a lot of inexperienced rookies just get scared and give up before uncovering any of the jewels.

But don't give up btchz...it's t-o-t-a-l-l-y worth sticking it out.
