iPhoneography Is The Bomb Diggity

So, duh: everyone has clearly heard of photography, and everyone has clearly heard of an iPhone, but have you heard of iphoneography?

Cause this is like a real thing now: the art of taking photos on your iPhone. And I'm so stoked that I stumbled into it because it will fucking rule your face just as hard as it rules mine.

Over the past year or so I've gotten way more interested in photography...and its all due to my iPhone.

And newsflash: you can take AMAZING FUCKING PICTURES on your iPhone--espesh if your ass is lucky enough to have the new one (which I don't even have yet).

[CATALOGGED] CB2's "Affordable Modern"

CB2 touts itself as "affordable modern," and I'm not really sure what that means.  Judging from the cover, it means some ugly, industrial step ladders and a tiny couple riding a motorbike? 

WTF is this?  Someone tell CB2's catalog designer not to get his inspiration from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids next time.  I thought catalog covers were supposed to draw you in, not freak you out about the prospect of tiny people running around your apartment when you're not there.

Lately, I've been bored with the selection offered up in CB2 or Crate & Barrel catalogs because they're really not introducing any new pieces.  How many times can I look at the same goddamned shower curtain, or those creepy side plates with small monsters with big teeth eating stuff?

Design Star Queen of the Dramz: Le Nina

OH. EM. EFF. GEE.

Behold the photos that I came across on HGTV Design Star contestant Nina's website. This is apparently her PROFESSIONAL website, where she showcases her work, and presumably sends people who she wants to hire her. Like for real jobs that pay real money.

Y'all know I've been obsessed with this HGTV Design Star bullshit. We're four eps into the season, and mostly all we've gotten is: shitty challenges, HORRENDOUS designs, poorly dressed judges and dramz. I've entirely given up on the idea of ever seeing any inspired designs, so really, all I'm left with is the fighting. And pretty much all of the dramz is focused around this crazy deer head masturbating egomaniac Nina.

Only, I didn't even know the half of it. This bitch is MUCH, MUCH crazier than I originally thought (and all the evidence is conveniently located on her site!).

[I'M OBSESSED] Mirror Mirror On The Wall...

I am obsessed with mirrors. Not looking into them, thank you very much, but using them as part of the decor in your home. I feel like I should be sick of them already...like isn't this a trend that's overdone?

But nope...I just keep on truckin.

We already have a mirrored coffee table (which I love), but truth be told: when I'm thinking about new shit for our apt, 50% of the time, a mirror is somehow involved.
